Publish an event
For organizers
Set up ticket types and phases (or seating), promo codes and comp tickets, then publish — free or paid.
Before you publish
An event starts as a draft: fill in its basics — name, description, dates, location or venue, and cover image — then set up how it sells tickets before switching it to active (published).
A free event can go live right away. A paid event — any ticket or seat priced above zero — can only be published once your organization's verification is approved (see "Organizer onboarding checklist").
Only teammates with manager-level access or higher can publish an event; anyone with editor access can prepare it up to that point.
Setting up tickets
Choose general admission (a quantity of each ticket type) or seated (an interactive map built from your seating chart) when you create the event — this choice is made once.
Each ticket type can have one or more phases: named, separately priced and timed windows (for example "Early bird" then "Regular"), each with its own quantity. A paid ticket type needs a phase priced at least 2,000 IQD for general admission, or 4,000 IQD for a seated category.
You can pause sales on a ticket type at any time without deleting it, and you can add, edit or remove ticket types and phases later — as long as nothing has sold on the ones you remove.
Promo codes and comp tickets
Create discount codes from Finance → Discount codes: a percentage or fixed amount off, limited to specific ticket types, a date window, or a maximum number of uses. A 100%-off code skips payment entirely for whoever uses it.
Need to send free tickets to guests, press, or performers instead of discounting a purchase? Use the Comp tickets tab on the event page to issue named tickets — they don't touch your Finance balance, but they still count toward sold numbers and check-in like any other ticket.
Recommended order
Fill in the event's basic information, dates, and location or venue.
Add your ticket types (or set up your seating chart for a seated event) and their phases.
Set up any promo codes or comp tickets you plan to use.
Double-check the event's refund policy.
Publish — a manager, admin or owner on your team can do this.
Editing a live event
You can keep editing a published event, including its ticket types, at any time. A ticket type or phase that already has sales can't be deleted, though, and its quantity can't drop below what's already sold.
